Says I Got A New SMS But It Wont Show Up...?
Just got a new sms and its flashing red but when I go to check I don't have anything...what happened?

Yup, its showing up on the main screen and flashing red. The date and time are correct and I was gettig them fine before this!!!

I pushed the letter "u" but it says "no unread messeages in list", so no what. I havnt updated my phone since I got It which was probably 8 months ago, give or take. I have the problem where I need to go to my email or messeages tab and then go to "My Folder" and then "SMS Inbox" to see my new text messeages. I went to the Rogers store earlier today and the guy told me to do a battery pull for the text not showing up and do an update for me having to go to "My Folder" too see my texts. Ill do the update soon though and see if it fixes both problems, thanks!!!

either go to your messages app, or u probably have a saved page request on your browser

Hmm.... I'm stumped man.... If I had the phone I could probably figure it out but Idk exactly what's going on.... Try to fuse ur emails and sms by going into options in your sms then go to general>sms and email select combine.... Then go to your messages and press the letter u to see if thatll figure out what's unread. I have mine setup that way anyway its easier to view ur messages

I don't know if you'll be able to READ it (don't think so), but if all else fails and you just want the phone to clear the message notification so it will quit saying you still have 1 unread message, plug your phone into your PC, open up 4.6 DM and go to the Backup & Restore, then click the Advanced tab. Once there, go over to the right side that says "Device Properties" or "Device _____" (whatever it says). Scroll down to probably "SMS Text", and hit the delete button to delete it.
This will completely clear all of your texts off your phone, though. You'll start fresh in your SMS inbox. - 02-12-2013, 06:03 PM #13 The ultimate solution ;)
I have found the solution. It was anti-spam and anti-anonymous settings in general message settings. Probably a message you have received was broken and no sender is available to check if it is not a spam.
To solve that problem do this few steps:
1. Go to Inbox
2. Press BB button and select General Option / Settings
3. Go bottom of the list and find Filter Messages
4. Unselect two option - anonymous and advert block
5. Press BB button and save settings.
6. Back to message you can not read - now it is available
