Knowledge? Future Device? Ex-BB User? Feel at home and comfortable?

I joined up here well before i got my first BB device, reason being is that before jumping in...i wanted to see what people were saying about the BB and especially the Bold.

At first i was pretty daunted by it all...with people saying that they were having certain issues etc. But it didnt put me off...generally people seemed to like the Bold...personally the fact it has 3G was one of the sealing deals for me.

Saying that before i got my Bold i had the vodafone Storm but could not for the love of money get on with it so that went back. On Sat i decided to buy my very first BB device, the Bold and since Sat i have not been able to put it down.

Honestly what an awesome device and i now understand why people love the BB experience so much. Everyday at work i see loads of people with BBs and could never figure out why they were always engrossed in their devices...it was only till i started using BB messenger that i finally realised what it was all about.

I know i said it before...but unless Winmo or other phone o/s improve...i cannot see myself ever EVER going back to a non BB device...they are just simply simply awesome. I was disappointed in the storm but im hoping the next version will be better. But at the mo, my Bold just simply rocks my world.

+1 for WeatherBug... I have it in my top 5 and love being able to glance at the home screen and see the current temperature.

I miss that Bold! That is one solid device. When I had the G1, I was reminded of the Bold because it too has a trackball. Of course I didn't use it much on the G1 since it has the touchscreen.

I know that I'm going to end up getting a BB device one of these days. I won't be able to help myself. If not the Bold, then it'll be another BB. Dang, those data plans!

Kinda funny that someone bashed my review on the frontpage because I didn't say anything bad about the Bold. They said I was probably one of those nice people who don't want to say anything negative. Hey, if I find something about a device that I don't like, I'll be sure to say so. The Bold is a little wide to me but that is not a deal breaker at all. I didn't think that the layout of the programs and menus were all that intuitive either, but again, not a deal breaker. I can't help if I like the Bold and that it's a well-made smartphone can I? LOL!

I'm on the iPhone 3G now in the Round Robin. I just wanted to say Hello and to thank you all again for your kindness and recommendations!!! You all are a great crowd!

I keep thinking of the Bold form factor to be similar to the Moto q9h.

I wanted to find a RR Thread by Kevin and ask him the following:

I would assume that all you guys would choose the device you own as your favorite.
A BB user is going to choose BB as their favorite. Iphone user is going to choose Iphone.
What would be your second choice?
