roger 6GB data plan kick in immediately?

when you get new rogers 6GB data plan, does it take effect immediately?

does user have to wait 24-72hrs for data plan to kick in?

When I switched over to the 6GB plan the rep on the phone told me I had to wait until 12:00 that night and then after that I was good to go. I had a look at my bill and he was right!

In my case, it was part of the activation, no delays.

If you are adding it on, it may take a few hour for the change to become active.

If you didn't have a data plan before, it will activate at 12. If you are switching from another data plan, it should activate immediately!

It depends on what they told you.

They CAN put it on immediately if you tell them to.

In my case the sales rep told me I can use data immideately..

I switched from Rogers Vision to 6GB plan. They cancelled my Vision plan immediately upon my call, but my 6gb plan did not come into effect until 12am. I used data between this time and got charged like 30bucks for 1mb of data usage before 12am. I had to call Rogers to get this reversed.
