repeated text messeges

Why am i getting multiple texts? is it my phone or hers??

I get a double reply back to back. sometimes a triple reply. She says she is getting the same thing??? Service or did i change a setting on my phone??

Is she on the same network? I've heard that if you're communicating across different networks, this may occur.

Not to thread jack but I am on .167 and can I get my txts to thread? As in I have like one hundred txts from my gf can I consolidate that into chain msging

No threaded SMS on Blackberry's. No matter the OS.

No she has metro. I have no issue with anyone else and I have spoke with people on att,t-mobile,verizon.

I asked her if she is getting repeats from anyone else and she says no... hmmmm I have had my 9000 for 5 days. it has done repeats with this girl for the past two. Its not every time I would say 75%

I get repeated txts sometimes from people with Verizon. I don't text with anyone with Metro because quite frankly, I don't know anyone that uses Metro.

Not true on the threaded sms for blackberry. Go to options, sms text and then choose the # of previous items you wish to view. Each message with that person will have that number of responses below it... True for my pearl, curve and bold. Now, on .167, they are threaded also but some kind of OS problem leaves them much further down on your screen than any other OS. Get rid of .167 and you'll be good to go!

I think the OP was referring to the sort of threaded messaging like on the iPhone.

Iphone is waaay out of my domain. I couldn't even begin to tell you how anything there works or relates to blackberry for that mattter.

U guys lost me..LOL I am sending SMS text to her. My scren shows. Me text her then her reply. my reply,her reply and so forth. sometimes i will get all in one shot 3 replies stamped with the same time all at once.

I am running .167 and was looking to upgrade just trying to figure out how to do it and which to go with.

The OS doesn't make a difference of how you receive your SMS's.
