rebooting issues

I bought my used 9000 about a week ago and have not had any problems with it (except when I reboot the battery drains almost completely after being about 75% full). this morning I reboot it and the blackberry screen w/ the bar stays for a long time (longer than the usual 5 minutes or so), and then the orange at&t screen comes up and it stays there.....any suggestions? I've removed the battery like 4 times already and its doing the same thing...the only thing that I did different was to turn off Mr. caller ID blocker and once I shut it down to reboot is when I started having this problem.....coincidence?

have you tried to Reload The OS or Upgrade the OS..?
If you still got the Red LCD on, You blackberry Might be getting Nuked..
so that why they Screen comes up and Takes a year to get into the Main menu..

My BB has a red light but will not start up? It starts withthe bar and then dies tries to reboot itself then dies again. i haave tried with a new battery and from the pc. the same thing. Can anyone help?

the red light disappears after a few seconds, i just get the bar and it loads but stays there for a long time and then i get the orange at&t screen and thats as far as it gets

i aslo saw that post that u sent me and when i go into "backup_restore dll' icant open it cuz its telling me that i am trying to open "a file of type "application extension"...
