I will be buying Bold in a week from Rogers and will be using for Rogers.

I have been researching for few days, still not sure about the following.

I know unlocking will give u an any SIM availability.
but, what does UNBRANDING will give you?

can I download any THEMEs that i can see from this web site, and apply to stock BOLD from rogers? Can I set my own mp3 as a Ringtone?

Unbranding just means that there is no company logo on the device. If you're getting your bb from Rogers then it will be BRANDED Rogers.

Themes: Any theme for a bold can be installed on any bold.
Ringtones: Yes, you can put your own MP3's on the device and use them as a ringtone.

You could head over to the newbie thread if you need a little help getting around. Also make sure you read your user guide for the bb once you get it. It will give you a better understanding of how the device works.
