Default Question about 3G/Edge

Hey,

This may be a stupid question but I figured I'll give it a shot.

I'm a iPhone owner and when I'm at work, I tend to have a hard time getting ANY type of signal, even seldom with a connection through Edge. It's as bad as being in a hospital.

When I was under T-Mobile, this was never a problem. So is it possible that the Bold has (what I'm guessing is a) better antenna, allowing me to have access to my e-mails/the internet while I'm at work?

Again, may be a stupid question, but I'm not too good with specs on phones. Thanks in advance for any help.

Don't see why it couldn't, RF issues range from phone to phone... The iPhone was particularly bad in that department as well

Interesting. What does "RF" stand for? That may allow me to compare the specs to my T-Mobile phones.

Radio Frequency

My iPhone never had the best signal in any building, but my Bold on the other hand - no problem... in most places

Default Phone signal

From what I understand (and someone correct me if I'm wrong), GSM signals, used on the iPhone, are better for carrying large amounts of data and large numbers of users, whereas a CDMA signal is a "stronger" signal and more secure. The strength of the "weaker" GSM signal might be the issue.

The iPhone and the Bold are GSM, so that would make no difference when comparing signal quality of both phones side by side.

My iPhone sucked compared to my bb's. That's why its back with at&t lol.
