PIN & EMEI not recognize on service provider BIS page
4 days ago, it all worked out fine. I tried to install OS 5.0.441, and everything was going smoothly. Later I found out, BB logo didn't show up on the top right hand corner of the screen, my email didn't functioning well and my BBM only can send but can't received. So I tried to go to BIS page and login, the login was successful but strangely my BB PIN and EMEI weren't recognized. I assumed, coincidentally it was a network error, so I went to my provider to ask and tried to get it fix. But they claimed that nothing wrong on their side, everything work out fine. And they put my sim card to another BB and it works! They told me the faulty must be from the device. Anyone can help me please?

Was it not catching the signal correctly? My issue sounds similiar. I moved from a curve to a bold that I purchased from someone. My sim worked fine in the curve but would jump from 3g to SOS and networking searching just sitting on my couch. Att corp store blamed it on the phone being onlucked and different os being put in. It was the orginial att os when I went into the store. Two new sim cards were tried. They explaination was it was skipping the 850 band and trying to jump to the 1900. I am stumped too! Maybe I shed some light for you?
