Paying Att at the store?

Hello fellow crackberry users. So I want to get unlimited data on my BB, but parents have been holding off on this for a while. Is it possible to pay the data plan price at Att in person then adding it on the bill? Is there any other way to pay for my data without adding it on the bill?

This is not possible. You can pay $30 (+ some tax) in the store after it's added, but you won't be able to without it hitting the invoice.

Try to make a deal with your parents that you'll give them $30 at the beginning of the month (ATT uses advanced billing) to pay for the unlimited data plan, and they pay for the voice plan.

Any changes made to an account must be made by the account holder or designee. I have a family share plan as well & my wife was not able to make any changes on the account until I made her an authorized designee.

i have unlimited minutes and unlimited data and text, unlimited everything basically, just ask for the paperless bill & maybe ur parents wont know they email u when the bill is ready online.

If you need your parents to agree to unlimited dat then I suggest running up a huge bill from data charges then they'll see the light (or **** your phone away )

There is no other way where I can add the feature on the bill... without showing the price? Is it possible to tell them to split the bill and tell them to bill a separate billing for the data plan LOL.

As my previous post states, any changes to an account must be made by an authorized user.
One alternative is to go to the AT&T store & pay a portion of the bill to establish a credit on the account. After doing this, you may be able to convince the account holder to add the data. The money would already be there applied as a credit. Just remember that you would have to repeat this process monthly to establish the credit.

It's gonna be on the bill no matter what. You can keep asking, but that's not going to change.

If you're the actual one paying for the data, then why won't your parents add it for you? I'm not trying to be mean but if that's the case then you shouldn't have to try sneaky ways of adding it on.

Lets say I pay $50 at the store and my bill is $200. When the bill arrives will it say $150 or $200. If this answer is a yes then this kinda answers my questions. I'm going to have to do whatever it takes to get that data plan for my beautiful BB.

Yeah, my brother and sister actually have the data plan for there phones because they have an excuse saying that they need it for work/college... but that fact that when I ask my parents they will give me a lecture saying ..."Why do you need this? and you just want something new everytime... blah blah blah". You guys know what I mean?
