After i completed the upgrade, my screen display is indicating i have two unread messages, which i dont ???

i think they're the registeration msgs .. you'll find them in you "Messages" not sms .. not emails ..

I had the same issue, just performed a battery pull and all went back to 0 (zero)

Ya, do a battery pull. I find that when I switch themes or do upgrades it will double up on the new msg icon until a battery pull is done.

I though it was just me, I get the double indicators when I switch themes also, battery pull fixes it.

Does not matter which carrier, just delete the vendor.xml file
