    Exclamation OS 4.6 wont go to 5

    Ok so i have a bold 9000 it was on o/s 5 but i had to wipe it due to freezing issues. Upon reloading the os desktop manager only found 4.6 as the latest i found it rather strange, I then downloaded os 5 and installed it. It installed ok but desktop manager will only pick up 4.6 I have tried command prompts battery pulls boot in safe mood bbsak even apploader
    Nothing works!! I really need os 5 any help at all? Please im begging

    Delete any older OSes from your PC except for the OS 5 version you want to install.

    Make sure you delete all vendor.xml files.

    Did that several times, even at first when no os at all was there. I only know one in common files where is the other?

    ^^ what Lak said. Delete *ALL* of the vendor.xml files.
