frequent reboots with .215 and .216. .214 seems to be working fine so far. Why can't RIM get it right. They fix one thing and the other things break, never ending "programming fail"

umm, they are leaked firmware versions.. you are not meant to have them, so you shouldnt be complaining.. if it was official firmware then you have a case.

For you guys who have been watching this: About how long does an average OS leak run before they make it an official release?

It depends on whether or not the carrier decides to accept it. Just like now
.217 is the newest. The OS is given to the carrier to test, and if they like it they release it. If not, they wait on the next one.

What was your gps issue. I'm running .214 and haven't noticed any problems...

I haven't been having any problems with .214, besides the bug fixes from .215 is there any reason to upgrade?

@Outrigger

Yup, I've confirmed it too. I tried stock and aftermarket ringtones (wav & mp3). All times I had the same problem while the wired headset was plugged in: music will NOT stop and the ringtone will not play through the headset, but instead the ringtone plays through the speakerphone.

On the upside this demonstrates multitasking phone operations while music continues to play, but it's an illogical way to live with the phone when a call comes in.

.217 is coming soon. Let's hope someone heard our report.

Here's to hoping for a Berry Xmas!

whenever i went to options, advanced, gps and tried to do a refresh it would say something along the lines of gps failed error.. no programs which used the gps would work any more.. updated to .216 and now it works, weird.

i have had two reboots on .214 and besides that none of the other issues .
its like in the last week and a half three OS's have been leaked and i might just stay on.214 or if i get another reboot back to .185 because nothing was wrong with that OS that i found and it wasn't a beta .
