Norwegian letters!
Hey! i just got my blackberry bold 9000 today, and i cant seen to figure out how to get norwegian letters!
i used to have a curve 8520, i figured out how to get the norwegian letters æ,ø and å on that one, but now its a bit harder
with my old curve i also had a little ''menu'' dropping down while writing, where i could choose å on the A button and so on.
Haha
i hope someone can help me though!

Good luck, I have been trying to find out how to get Russian letters on my 8530. No one seems to know.

Press and hold the "A", without releasing the "A" move the trackball / pad to change
the letter to your choice. Don't think this will do Russian characters though.
Works with a bunch of other letters also. Try "O" and "N" and you'll see what I mean. - 07-10-2010, 03:19 AM #4

Yeah, thats how it was with my curve 8520, but now with the bold it doesnt work to just hold the letter and choose f.ex. å.. its really getting on my nerves now!
Does anyone know how to fix it so that i can hold a letter and choose another`?
Do i need to change a setting or something?

Alright, so I've been able to install some languages through BlackBerry Desktop Manager. All's fine and well. Except for one thing, or two. While I've been able to activate Russian and Hebrew and such, virtual keyboard on-screen, I can't (though I've installed Norwegian) add the Norwegian letters of å,æ,ø to the virtual keyboard, not the keyboard you can access when you use the slider on the phone. Any help? I can't use French, Italian or Spanish letters either even when I have installed them.
