Non Vodafone software
I've just purchased a bold 9000. It's unlocked but has Vodafone software on it. Is it possible to update the firmware to non Vodafone software? Thanks in advance

Non Vodafone software
Try a hybrid OS. There are some good ones in this forums that prove better than the official ones.

Loading a different carrier's device OS doesn't have anything to do with the carrier logos.
You cannot change the carrier logos on the splash screen. - 12-08-2012, 08:41 AM #6
Yep. What he said. I have an unlocked 9800 from AT&T running on TMobile using .706. I don't recall what carrier I got .706 from when it leaked out. I still see AT&T logos when I boot.
