For install instruction to load any carrier 9000 OS on your BB:

1. Back up data on Desktop Manager under Back up/restore option
2. Back up your 3rd party apps. Instructions here--> http://forums.crackberry.com/f3/how-...cations-53201/
3. Disconnect your BB from Desktop Manager
4. Download desired OS to your PC
5. Install/run OS to PC
6. Delete vendor.xml file. It's located in c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader
7. Connect BB to Desktop Manager and it should prompt the upgrade. If not click app loader and that should initialize it.
8. Do not unplug BB during the process. It will take around 30-60 minutes to complete upgrade.

***Steps 2 is optional but recommended

I have no idea! LOL Its just newer than the .126 that was previously stickied. But we all know beta .147 is in the wild(probably more stable) and .150 was just released to RIM partners and hopfully in the wild really soon.

OH for gods sake do I have to go to friends house again to scrounge his laptop to update and get ANOTHER load of MAC user abuse!! honestly it's killing me!!

Hi there, i'm downgrading to .134 'cause i've tried this upgrade for the last 24, and my bold has been selfreseted for 3 times. I'll wait for another upgrade.
I can't identify the problem, just happend when reading email, another time i was using berry messenger, and the last one, listening music.

Hope this help for those who wish to try .144

Try .147. Its out in the wild. Everybody says its much better than .134

144 is not bad!

The battery life is definitely better than 126, which I was using before. I do notice that 3G actually drops out more in this version, but it's not too bad.

But there is still a memory leak...

There is a feature improvement over the .126 EastAsia: It now supports Japanes Input functionality, which is very important for some of my customers.

I'm using a non intel based mac so I dont have the parrallel option

Unless anybody know of a solution

New mac for xmas ( please santa ) so should be OK then.

.147 official ROM should come out with Hong Kong CLS and vodafone French first.
