Default Need info on BB bold alarm

well I managed to forget my blackberry in my locker at school today and I just realized that I have a rather loud and annoying alarm set on it for tomorrow morning. Will it just keep on ringing till I get to my locker and turn it off or will it eventually stop?

If it is a daily alarm, from my experience it will ring until it's turned off. If it's just a calendar event it will stop after the first notification.

Hi cruggins,

There's a post about the clock locking up if the alarm is not responded to within a certain time frame, (unknown). The OP mentions that in his case, the phone is in the cradle in bedside mode. It will be interesting if this happens to your phone as well. Please report back if a problem exists on yours that's related to the alarm. I'm just curious.

Thanks,
Bryan

In your case...you better hope the battery is dead before then, lol.

How do you leave your BB alone in the first place?

Yes... it will keep ringing. I've come home from work and found my second Bold still ringing from the alarm.

Actually, if it's any kind of alarm -- daily, weekly, monthly -- and even if it's set as an alarm in the Calendar, it's going to keep on ringing . . . and ringing . . . and ringing. And ringing.
