Need help connecting to BIS

well i just bought my blackberry 9000. the problem is it cant detect my BIS. it only has 3G logo. i can call sms whatsoever except for BIS. my bis works in other blackberry except this 9000. i checked that my 9000 is already unlocked. im confused what should i do

currently in malaysia. i dont know what carrier. i check my vendor id it is -1. i called my phone line customer service (maxis) it says my blackberry motherboard does not allow my maxis BIS. if there is no more option for me to do i have to change to new phone from the shop i bought this friday. i just wanted to solve this thing by my self if there is any option.

wow really. seems that there is no option for us cynma other than to change it. such a burden. where do u bought that blackberry?

i bought it in kuching, i dunno i tried calling digi and all i got was service upgrading and all that so unhappy now
