    Default Need Advice

As you know within your first year of warranty the bold is covered for software issues and basically anything non physical. However you could always *wink wink* notice problems that techs may not be able to see *wink wink* and therefore theyd have to send you a refurb. I have a brand new bold but i dropped it and have a nasty dent on the silver linning...what is your opinion should i stay with mine or take the shinny new refurb? Thanks

Hahaha! "...shiny new refurb..." Isn't that an oxymoron?

Up to you, if it's just the bezel, I'd just buy another (bezel, that is) and reinstall it (go for stealth black). If there's a major problem, I'd return it.

Yea u could buy a new bezel. Install might be a pain and risky but its better than a refurb.

I've stated this many times on here. When I had my Curve for 18 months I got it exchanged through warranty about eight times. Mostly because I just felt like having a brand new looking phone after dropping it so much. Just called and told them fibs.

I can't believe you would even consider swapping a new device for a refurb, just because of a dent/scratch. Just buy a new bezel. If you want a black one then get a black one. If you ever need to make a claim then take the black one off and put the dented/scratched one back on.

Agreed. This is why the deductible is so high.
