Laurent08,
You can find the black bezel and tool here, and you can check the CB homepage forums for a youtube video on how to take apart and put back together your bold.

i had to do some ajustments to the bezel cause it is not original and u have to fix all the buttons from your original and it had a plastic part sticking out from the inside had to cut it off to fit the phone inside but it was worth it looks really good

Just an FYI, if you want to switch out to the black bezel here's some precautionary tips:
1: Some people have reported here in the CB forums that removing the buttons from the silver bezel in order to move them to the new black bezel can be a pain. So buy an extra set of the buttons to use with the black bezel.
2: Buy that T5 Torx screwdriver. A buddy of mine thought he would just pick one up at a local hardware store only to find it virtually impossible to locate anything smaller then T6. He called 6 stores and either they did not carry it or it was sold out.
3: Get the blue triangular case opening tool, it makes the process easier.
Buttons and T5 can be found here

Sounds too complicated!
I'll stick to my standard Bold until colorware starts offering the service on bold (selling the bold already colorwared NOT having to send Bold in) ...BB History: 8700, 8300, 8310, 9000, 8900, 9700

i bought the same bezel (as well as a spare silver one) from the same site
had some serious hassle putting it on to start and then realised that disconnecting the LCD from the main board made it really much easier
the ONLY slight gripe i have is that the back battery door isnt quite as solidly connected.....it almost feels like a little movement is there when you hold the device..........
but it does look awesome.............especially with the black/white O2 bezel at the bottom!
only bought it because i DROPPED my 1 week old Bold onto concrete and managed to chip/scratch the original bezel !!
removing the original buttons was a bit fiddly, but it is do-able......... - 10-14-2008, 08:28 AM #11
Layer Electrical tape (brand NEW pack of electrical tape, or scotch tape)
use NEW electrical tape only as older tape tends to get "gummy"
anyway.. I posted a "battery door creak fix" on here somewhere
layer the tape one.. two .. or three.. layers.. just tape and reinstall back untill you are satisfied.

do you guys know how to dye the trackball black and is there a special dye?
- 10-14-2008, 04:09 PM #24
from my lacrosse days we would add RIT dye (fabric dye found at walgreens) to near boiling water and soak plastic lacrosse heads in the solution for a few minutes. I plan on dying mine this way.
I just ordered the following parts from CNN.cn:
1) Black Bezel
2) Extra set of buttons
3) extra keyboard
4) Extra trackball
I am going to paint the buttons and the silvers lines in the keyboard black as well as dye the trackball and put on the black bezel. It really will be a "BLACKberry Bold". - 10-14-2008, 06:39 PM #25
Looks great!
