My Bold Screen is Off-White! What About Yours?

My latest Rogers Blackberry Bold's screen has an off-white tint, with whites registering as almost a cream or slight yellowish eggshell color. My previous Bold (which I'm returning) had what I'd call a cooler tinge, giving me an almost perfectly white white.

I compared my Bold to a work colleague's and his was different as well -- almost a bluish white (and dimmer). All of these were tested at 100 percent brightness.

So I'm wondering, what's everyone else's experience?

you probably got a bold that was built in hungry. I have the same issue
and it was driving me nuts. I remember my Curve had the same issue
and it was built in Mexico. My bold has the same issue now and it was built
in hungry. I wouldn't be surprised if yours was from hungry too.
Check behind the battery it says it there.

Mine was made in Hungry and I have a slight yellow color but it doesn't bother me. To each their own I guess!

mine is a at&t bold made in hungry that is perfectly white. there goes your theory.

every phone made comes in different batches. maybe you got a early batch but I'm just taking a shot in the dark. well in your case off-white.

I have yet to see once from canada with it..I'm just saying the ones I've seen with the issue are from hungry..NOT THAT ALL ARE. Again..it's only about 5 i've seen

Mine is a Rogers phone, made in Canada, with a bright white screen.

For the poster to say that the yellow screens seem to be made in Hungary is not to say that all the Hungary screens are yellow.

I have the one i bought 2 weeks ago and it is pure white. The replacement they sent, yellow tint.

It bother the ish outta me. You can't give me white and then send me yellow.

Also the buttons are more level and less textured than my original. There is also a large gap betweem the metal and the keys.

I'm sending this crap back!
