My Bold has just arrived!
As the title says, my new Bold was safely delivered this morning... and before anyone asks, here is the obligatory picture:-

As you can see it is Orange badged, and is a UK retail model.
I picked it up on eBay for just 51p. (1$)... a real bargain, I am sure you will agree!
Oh... sorry... didn't I mention... it is a dummy phone!

Are you having a problem with memory leaks or 3rd party apps?
From the head MOFO in charge:

Well I must say, I have never owned a phone which is so cheap to run, and which never needs recharging!

I did wonder whether I should put an 'unboxing' video on Youtube, as it did come carefully wrapped in a 'bubble bag', inside a BlackBerry branded white box!
What did rather surprise me though, is that all the keys and buttons are 'pressable', and it even weighs about the same as the retail model... at 138 g. It is obviously exactly the same article which a number of the Orange shops already have on display.
I can already tell just how incredibly jealous you all are!

I knew it was a fake when I saw the date on the phone, but great thread to lighten things up around here.

You don't say!
... a VERY realistic one though... right down to the faux leather backing and the working keys!

Pity it's 1st August and not 1st April. Nice one, man.
