Media Sync problem - Please Help

I am having problems trying to SYNC my BlackBerry Bold with Media Sync. I want to transfer my iTunes library to the bold. I have a 8gb micro SD card in the phone, and I have Mass Media enabled. The error message I get it

"Blackberry Media Sync failed to connect to your Blackberry device. Click Retry to try again or cancel to disconnect"

I have search for hours now and have seen many others having the same problems, but I havent seen ONE person say that they did XYZ and that it worked. Does anyone know a fix for this? I have tried just running Media Sync withing Desktop Manager but that doesnt work either

You will not be able to play any iTunes songs that are protected with DRM on your BB.

Yeah I understand that, but thats not my problem

If you are on DM4.7 I recommend you uninstall it and download 4.6. 4.7 has been well documented on this site as a trouble maker.

Have you tried reformating your SD card from within the Bold?

Can you drag and drop other files to the SD card while the Bold is connected to your computer?

Try turning off Mass Media and reconnecting to the comp.

Well the card was brand new, so I hadnt tried to format it. I am able to connect to the DM software because it sees my PIN and I can transfer files, I just cant sync with iTunes.

I tried formatting the card, but same results. On My Computer the blackberry bold is never visible as a mass media storage. I have tried turning that option on and off but nothing changes as far as seeing it on the PC
