Let me say I've been using WB's hybrid v8.2, which has been the best for me so far. No problem with my install of .900, reloading apps, or activating BES. All apps function that I've been using. GPS and Wifi activate very quick. Browser slower than the hybrid, but seems quicker than 5.0.0.822. No change in App memory. Apps installed:
Twitter
Facebook
Crunch SMS
Berry Weather
Docs to Go premium
MLB at Bat
ScoreMobile
Google Maps
Camera Mute
Yesterberry
File Manager Pro
Texas Hold em King 2
App World
Flipside
BBSmart Alarms Pro
AIM
Memory Booster
VVM
BBM
Free app memory after battery pull 30.2 Mb. I'll report back after it settles for a day or two. - 11-18-2010, 06:33 PM #11

downloaded this morning, install on my pc and shrink the os from around 93 MB down to only 50MB on my java folder, and now just finished installed it on my device......
as usual, the first boot up takes more time, but after restore data from DM and restoring app using BBSAK, then two battery pull, the os seems running smoothly
free mem after boot up is about 30 MB with facebook, YM, and BB trans installed
will see is how much memory leak it has after few hours and how about battery life compare to ver.771 i used to have on itMERCEDES BENZ....Drive it like you stole it...! - 11-18-2010, 09:56 PM

OK I downloaded it and installed now. I was actually reluctant abt it at first..as I had installed BDHP 3.2 just 2 days back..but curiosity made me try it
. OK here is the initial review..
The java folder was 93+ mb but came down to 40mb after removing all junk. Wiped using bbsak and loaded the os..installation went fine..no problem at all. I installed the following 3rd party apps:
IM+
Ubertwitter
berryweather
viigo
BB meter
opera
scoremobile
cb launcher
Flashon
I have free memory of 35mb now. so guess its same as .822. However I think the boottime is fast and browser is fast too..wifi and gps are working gud..I cannot say much abt the battery life and memory leak right now. Will comment later. And thankyou all for the review.Don’t rub the lamp if you don’t want the genie to come out.

Why wasn't this on the "News and Rumors" page? If i didn't go through this forum to check what was new... i wouldn't see this. But thanks again.

It seems pretty stable... My App mem is way better than it use to be. From 17mb (.822) now with the new .900 my app mem is way up to 40mb. This is very good. But still waiting for the new (.900OS) to sink in properly. Will update soon again.
