Is it possible to install other input languages, such as Greek or Arabic on new OSs that do not include these language CODs? Ca one install older CODs from an earlier OS version?
I tried to use App Loader to install all Greek or Arabic CODs for examples from an earlier OS version, but got an error message in Desktop Manager saying that the "software is not supported" on my device!
As far as I understand, to add input languages (other than the ones included in a new non-Multilanguage OS) then one has two options:
1- Wait for some carrier to release the same OS version in Multilanguage version.
2- Install older input language CODs on a device with the non-Multilanguage release installed. Is this possible?!
Appreciate help if anyone knows how to do that, or if anyone knows if Multilanguage version of 4.6.0.307 is released by any carrier!

Hi,
You want the "Input Support" or just the languages?
I managed to install Greek to 5.0.0.348 from 5.0.0.314 and it works.Unfotunatelly i am not home right now,but if u check later i can post the cod files u need in order to have Greek (i dont know for Arabic).
The way to do it is, to find an OS that supports these two languages. You need to install it in your PC.After that you have to go to Program Files\Coomon Files\Research in Motion\Shared\Loader Files and there u can see the installed OS.You can see a folder Java, folder UMTS (i think) and some files (not in a folder). You have to copy/paste Blackberry.alx from the files (not in a folder) and the cod files that i am going to post later (coming from Java folder) in your desktop (create a new folder). After you have to install the new OS to your pc and copy paste the files from your desktop to the appropriate folders of the new OS. Finally u have to delete the older OS from your pc.I ll post later the cod files
Hope to help u
