ICMP ping echo
Hi all,
I'm a newbie and have a question for the bold. When I run the diagnostic test the only thing that says no is the ICMP ping echo. What does this mean. Can anybody explain this to me. Thanks in advance.
Kind regards,

ICMP Ping checks a remote host for availability.
Ping is a "poke" on the network, it will check to see if the remote host is alive.
Kind of like a booty call. "Hey you out there? I need to talk to you."

Thanks for your instant reply. Does this mean I have a problem, because the icmp echo is no in my diagnostic report. I have a BIS supscription.
