I updated to .297 about a week ago and from the beginning I've had issues.

First, App World wouldn't finish downloading Slacker Radio. Second, when I would type in Messenger or search for a contact the screen flashes with every letter I push. Today I lost my contacts. The icon is gone and I've searched through every folder. I can search from the phone function and my emails/texts show the contact's name. But I can't go in and look at the list.

So I decided to downgrade to the old OS and it seems to have resolved the first two issues. But I still need the contacts icon back. Can anyone help me figure this out? Thanks!!

try hitting show all? maybe its hidden itself?

Always start with a battery pull.
Connect to DM and see if there is an option to add it.
go to options advanced hosting routing table and register.
log into BIS BlackBerry Internet Service resend service books.

Not sure if that will fix it but none of those steps will hurt.
