BBMaps is gone. Period. If you want it back, for whatever reason since GoogleMaps is better, you can remove the service book for it that is blocking it. As far as the calendar issue, have you tried another battery pull? I doubt upgrading your OS will bring the entries back, but who knows.

If you want BB Maps back, plug your phone into Desktop Manager, go to AppLoader, Add/Remove Apps, in the list make sure that BB Maps is checked off. Then click Next and go through that. Once it finished, BB Maps should be back on your phone.

Apparently AT&T wants you to use their pay service instead of bbmaps. Take the advice above to get the app back and if you want, you can still use it anytime. It is NOT gone and is fully functional, you just have to access it in a different way. Set yourself up as a contact in bbm, send your location to yourself, open the map and bbmaps is there, ready to use. I agree with you about having options and don't let anyone tell you that google maps is better. That's an opinion, not a fact. It's subjective depending upon your likes and needs and it's up to you to decide which is better.........for you.

Keep in mind that if you use any AT&T themes, BB Maps will not show up whether or not it's actually on the device.

AT&T blocks access to BBmaps via the service books. Even if you reinstall BBMaps the next time your phone receives the service books it will disappear again. However, apps such as Poynt can utilize BBMaps.

As far as your calendar, did you install the new Facebook? If so, that's likely what screwed up your today theme.
To fix go to options>advanced> service book> delete the facebook Ical
unfortunately you'll have to do this each time you do a battery pull/resetiTouch & EVO 4G
