How to use wifi only on 9000?

I just got my bold 9000 in the mail today, my first blackberry. My tmobile plan doesn't have data. How can i set the browser up to just use wifi?

I think i got it connected to the wifi but the browser doesn't open?

<sigh> It won't. You *need* a BB data plan to get the BB browser, BBM and other data specific functions to work.

Make sure in the Browser Options, that your default browser is set to HotSpot Browser and not Blackberry Browser or Web2Go.

Thanks sonic, i think it's working on wifi and not 3g. It's pretty fast. I will check my data usage just to make sure bc I have an option in my plan to use data if i really want for an outrageous price.

You can test it by turning off the Mobile network but leaving WiFi on, but its always good to check the carrier, JIC.
