how much did you honestly think you would love your bold?
I had a curve 8310 and liked it...just okay though. So I got an iphone 3G for a few months until the bold came out. So I got it just to try it out. But never did I think a phone would becaome attatched to me like this haha I'm absolutley in love with it. What was your experience??

Don't have mine yet, but.....
I originally had the iPhone, then the 3G iPhone. After two crashes, and the loss of lots of data, I ended up with a Curve (8310). I quickly came to see why BlackBerry devices are often, and justfiably so, referred to as 'CrackBerries'. I loved everything about my Curve, and since I was going overseas I ended up giving it away. I realized shortly after giving it away that I could've kept it, but being a gadget junkie I realized I now had an opportunity to upgrade
. So after doing some research I decided on the Bold. I was leaning towards an unlocked Storm until I read it didn't have WiFi. On top of that I don't mind the touch screen, but to me the newness of it had worn off considering I had both iPhones for a combined 18 months. I feel the Bold offers the complete package, and since I won't have a data plan here in Bahrain, WiFi is certainly the next best thing. They sell unlocked Bolds here in Bahrain for $800, and I ended up getting mine for $600 online. A lot to pay, but well worth it in my opinion. All that being said, I don't have mine YET, but I am eagerly anticipating its arrival. This time around I will finish what I started with BrickBreaker

I wanted to like it but I ended up hating the Bold and just returned it back to AT&T. Way to fussy and quirky for my tastes. I'm back to the IPhone 3G, I never had a problem with my IPhones 2G or 3G.

I knew that I would love my Bold from the moment I saw it. I had the first iphone from the first day they went on sale and then I upgraded to the 3G and kept it til the screen started blacking out during calls never to return(until after a reboot). It did this on almost every call so when I saw the Bold I knew that it was meant to be. I love it like that girl who kept you trapped in the friend zone all those years in high school. So much love..just no sex!
My Bold is flawless!!!

I knew I would love the bold before we even knew model number or any specs. when we only knew that it was the first 3G blackberry.

I knew when I touched it - when it finally became mine, that is.
I played with it some at the ATT store, not so much when it was my brother's still cause he's an @ss like that. But when he gave it to me, with that first initial touch, I knew. I knew it would be the phone that would make my life complete (for now).
It helped that my Pearl was constantly pissing me off at the time, and I was way overdue for an upgrade anyway."Give a girl the right shoes and she can conquer the world." -- Bette Midler

I originally bought a Samsung Epix because I've always been a Samsung fan, and it had a faster processor that the Bold. And I really loved that phone, but after a week I downloaded a shell from the Windows Mobile site and it crashed my phone. Not only that but someone was able to rund up $545 worth of dls to my wireless bill. Connected, i think so. So I when I took it back they didn't have anymore Epix, and whilst i was waiting around the guy let me play with his Bold. It was the Speed Racer video that sold me. Compared to the Epix it looked like a little HD screen, so I got one.

I was a bit dubious about the Bold at first. I was concerned about the size. However, once I got it, I knew I had made the right choice.

Bold is my first ever bb and a friend recommended it. I thought I will give it a try and after using it for a couple of days, I realised that I love it to bits.
Actually I'm addicted more to it because of CB!

I thought my 8320 was amazing. It was my trusty device for a year
But the bold is in a league of its own

I loved mine so much that I bought a second one for the wife
So I could play with hers as well. She said that she loved her SEWalkman bc it was simple but I hated waiting for her to respond to my texts. Remember rotary phones?

@kstatenupe: you too? I bought my first Bold about a month ago. Three weeks later, I was back in the store buying one for my wife.
Coming from a treo 650 and 700, the Bold is a wonderful device. If Palm had gotten their stuff together, they would be able to compete in the market.

I have had my Bold for a month... and I love it. Just bought my wife an iPhone 2 days ago, and while I have enjoyed playing with her phone, jailbreaking her phone, and putting apps on it for her (technology challenged) I WILL never leave my Crackberry for Apple... while I'm not knocking the iPhone, its great for her, but Blackberry is much more suited for a nerd/geek like myself.

Coming from a loong line of Nokias, I have to say that push email is now essential - that combined with wifi, gps and this incredible screen, the BOLD is a must have, and the current "Daddy" of the bb family - a great device!

It was the best day of my life, the UPS truck came to the door, and the guy gave me my package! I was ecstatic! I ripped open the box, and saw the beautiful Blackberry box, how beautiful even the box was! (I still have the box :P) I opened to the box, and there it was sitting so shiny and beautiful, in all its glory. I became convinced there was such a thing as love at first sight! :P I sat there for a few moments awed! I slowly reached out my hand, and carefully picked up the phone! At that moment I knew, this was the phone for me!
I LOVE MY BOLD!!

I knew straight away that I'd love my Bold, as soon as I researched it and held it in my hands.

I was sceptical about getting the bold at first unlocked as I have tmobile service... And I had the cruve previously.... And I thought it would be the same... So I went with the storm... Boy was I wrong... I had the storm for a week before trading it in for the bold.... I love it....
