How do I lock specific apps?

For example, is there a way for me to lock just my sms texts, or just my media files?? I know how to lock my phone in general but i want specific apps.

Why don't you just hide it. Or you can get file lock and lock it there

There may be a 3rd party app to accomplish this, but as far as native apps, there's nothing available for what you're looking to do.
