How do I click using the keyboard?

My cursor ball moves the cursor but it no longer clicks when you press it down. I can still click links by hovering the cursor over the link and pressing return, but I can't click on text fields. Is there a way to do this by keyboard?

I had a similar problem with my 8900 curve and it was driving me crazy and I never found a soloution I did take mine apart though and found a tiny bit of dirt was jammed underneath it which was stopping it fully depressing it.

Maybe you could try that if your confident taking stuff apart.
