how to deactivate Voice Activated Dialing?

Hi,
I have a Blackberry Bold 9000. I have never used Voice Activated Dialling, nor do I need to. However when trying to play videos in the Media section, I get the message:

"Cannot play media while Voice Activated Dialing is active."

I have been to - Options / Voice Dialling
and set Checklists to "always off", but that doesn't seem to help.

I do not have any side conveniences keys assigned to Voice Dialing.

Please tell me how to deactivate Voice Activated Dialing?

Have to ask.. Have you tried a batt pull? That usually fixes this issue.
