HELP! bold 9000 won stop resetting itself

Hey guys, I have a bold 9000 v5.0.0.900 and today it has started resetting itself?? Even while typing this it just reset again. Anyway example, it was sitting on my table in front of me and out of the blue it shut off and went to the blackberry loading screen. It has been doing this MANY times today. 7 this hour. Its getting quite annoying espeially when I turn the phone off for the night and I wakeup and see the phone at the bb loading screen again. Anybody know how I can fix this? Thanks very much, Mike.

The 9000 is getting pretty old by now. Have you tried a new or different battery?

I tried a different battery then it ha a white screen. I think its a software problem personally. I took it to a phone shop where it is now and that's what they think

It is the screws holding the BB together. Remove the back and battery, then see if some of the screws are working themselves loose.
Very common problem.

i have almost the exact same problem. I got a new battery and then updated my blackberry OS with the latest one and it seemed to be working fine. However, that lasted for about a week because yesterday it did the same thing again.

My phone would just restart itself randomly, or if i hold it a bit tight. If i press near bootom right screen on my bb it would restart itself, sometimes get the [b][/b][b][/b][b][/b][b][/b]e screen of death, and then today i had it charged in my wall charger but screen went black all of a sudden with a picture of a empty battery and and X through it.

can anyone help solve this problem please? (phones about 3 years old now)

sure sounds like an OS issue. reloading should fix it.
