the next morning it will come back.. I have had to do this a couple of times and it works happened to me night before last. So i know it works!!!!!

I had the same thing happen. Would not even power up when plugged into USB. I was ready to get another phone, as it lie there with both feet in the air.

But, as this post states, took out SIM and bat, left it overnight...and Voila!! its working again.

    Thanks for the post

    Default Same Problem

I have a Blackberry Bold 9000 (from at&t, not unlocked or anything) with the newest software on it. It does this from time to time also. More importantly, I my last bold turned off once and just never turned back on. I charged it for days, pulled the battery out, tried a different battery, plugged it into my computer for hours etc nothing. It was just ..dead. They gave me a new one and now it does it for hours at a time. I am worried that one day it will just never turn back on. Its stressful -i try to make sure it never runs out of battery because I dont want this to happen. But that is ridiculous. I shouldn't have to worry about that. I mean common -a phone that doesn't turn on? My crappy flip phones from '98 never did anything like that. Blackberry needs to fix this asap as well as a whole host of other issues otherwise blackberry wont exist anymore i can guarantee that. these are "business" phones. Supposed to be reliable. Email, calendars are nice and all for that but a phone that doesn't turn on sort of makes all that stuff irrelevant ..right?

Did you pop out the secondary battery on the mainboard yet, as per the other thread? Mine took a charge right away when I followed those instructions.

this is easy to fix, but i don't know if it work on your blackberry,,
it is cause by static electricity (from your body) on the device that you need to remove it..
