Has anyone here use Simpletrax or Live Tracker?
It this new? It's a way to locate GPS enabled devices. There have been posts about how to locate a stolen Bold so I am wondering if this might work as it cheaper than the other locating-type app mentioned (can't remember the name). I just saw this on the Blackberry Insight site.
They also mention LiveTracker - don't know anything about that one either but it says it's a free beta. - 09-03-2009, 03:38 AM #2
I'm just looking at SimpleTrax myself right now. I'd have already subscribed and set it up, but first I'm attempting to verify that only the initial device needs to be a BlackBerry and other phones on the plan can just be gps enabled.
I've looked at the specs but I get the feeling those are just for the phone that'll have the software installed. None of the folks I know can afford to purchase BB's for every family member and some kids aer way to young for one anyway.
