glued together. I cracked the lens on my new Bold when it had an unfortunate collision with my brick fireplace. Just made me sick. When I took it in yesterday to my local repair shop, they said that they could replace just the lens and that the LCD wasn't damaged.

I dropped it off today and when I went to pick it up, they said they had some bad news. They didn't realize that the lens and LCD are glued together and cannot be separated. When they tried, they damaged the LCD. Long story short, they are having to order a new LCD/lens but not charge me for the replacement LCD. He then wondered why they would even sell the lens separately.

Not so bad but it will take a week or so to get it back. They offered a replacement phone to use in the mean time, but I have the Curve that I upgraded from at home. Then I remembered that the Curve's external speaker doesn't work (damage from another drop, damn you gravity). When I told the repair guy about the Curve, he said to bring it back and he would fix it, which he did at no charge.

So I'm back to my curve for a week and in the process of finding a good case for the Bold. Does anyone know of a good case that can still be holstered with the BB case that came with it?

I'm not sure about being holstered but I know otterbox is one of the best.
