Default Force Discharge in eScreen

Hi,

My battery was almost flat the other night, but I needed to put my phone on charge, I was tempted to flatten the battery totally before charging it, but this was not practical.

I was tempted to use the "Force Discharge" option in eScreen / OS Engineering Screens / Battery / Battery Charging Screen / Force Discharge

Would this cause any harm to my device? Has anyone used this option?

Thanks

StuMcBill

Interesting I never knew that option was there. In my case I try to be very careful when Im in the engineering screen. There are a lot of complicated options and I wouldnt want to mess with them. My engineering screen is disabled since I upgraded the OS.

Yes, I know this thread is old, but I can't find the answer anywhere...

Anyone figured out yet what forcing a discharge from the engineering screen does yet ??
