Fast forwarding without using trackball

Hi,

the trackball on my bold 9000 is not doing so great and i cant scroll to the right at all but I've found ways around almost everything that involves scrolling right, except when I'm listening to music i cant fast forward and i always need to, so i've tried pressing almost every button but i cant seem to find a way to fast forward, so if anyone knows a way or if I'm doing something wrong it would be much appreciated.

hold the volume button up and it should skip to the next track. also try a q-tip and some rubbing alcohol to get the track ball to work again in case you got something in there. that's happened to me and that fixed it.

Put phone face down on a piece of CLEAN PRINTER paper.
Drag the phone in circles for a few seconds.

If that doesn't work try the alcohol.

Skip song is holding down a media key.

Forsure, i have tried pretty much everything on my trackball but i cant get it to work so im just going to get a new one online cause i really like this phone apart from that, and as far as fast forwarding i actually meant fast fowarding further into a song but i didnt even know how to skip songs like that so thank you haha

get a g1 trackball instead of white.
