the bold had a better build. the plastic and lcd are glued together so I don't think this will be a problem with dust.

go get one, you wont be thinking about dust

Does this go the same way with the Curve 8900? I have the Curve 83xx and have occasional dust issues, no biggy, but wanted to know if they fixed it on the new Curve

No dust issues here at all.

My curve is less than 2 weeks old and I've noticed dust/lint getting under the screen by the bottom more and more. Not trying to make a big deal out of it though have to wonder at this rate what it's going to be after a few months. Granted I keep it in my pocket and that's probably where it's coming from. I like my curve "naked" and am not a holster fan.

Does anyone know if I blow compressed air at the seam if that will help or hurt?

Compressed air from an aerosol can or from a petrol driven compressor?

If it was the latter I would probably go with it being very harmful.

I mean compressed air from a can. Same thing used to blow out your puter case or keyboard. I'm not talking full blast, just concerned a precision hit with care could still lift the screen. From what I've read it's not on there very tight to begin with.

I'm thinking the same. It's not an issue now. If it becomes one I'll address it then. Knowing me in a few months I'll probably have already taken the thing apart already.

I have a WE and i sometimes see a piece of dust here or there and it is common on most types of bb's. I have learned to deal with it, not a big deal. oh i should say i do not have a screen protector

I'm so GLAD to hear that. My previous was a company supplied BlackJack 2, I'm very anal about keep things nice and it developed a lot of dust under the screen. Really pissed me off!

I've said this in the Storm forums. If this happens, it's a manufacturing defect and covered under warranty. You don't need to blow canned air or anything else. Call your Service Provider and have them send a replacement.

You're more likely to get dust under the keys than the screen
