Dead Battery White Screen?

So my battery died, and usually I just plugged it in for a day and it recharges back - this time, it does it's usual red light and black screen for a while, then it shows the recharging white screen for 3 seconds, then the loading white screen for another 3, followed by just a pure white screen afterwards.
I've tried pulling the battery out and in (I have no SD card), and the phone has no functions at all unlike other people's...what should I do?

edit: the white screen remains even AFTER I take the battery out.
