    Default date view format

Is there a way change the way in which the date shows up on my home screen under the calendar icon?
My theme has a bar which says calendar, so I can see the upcoming appointments ect on the home screen.

But the date shows up, for example, march 27 as 03/27 whereas I want it the other way, 27/03
I know its a little picky, but can it be done?

I am not sure but m just guessing it that when you setup the phone it asks you for language. English(UK) or English(US). Try selecting UK. Because by default month/year is format for UK and year/month for US.

Changing the Language to UK English does not change the date format. I have mine set to UK and the date is resolutely month/day/year

Actually, I hate American measurement standards to be honest. I like our dte format because it's what I'm used to, but the metric system and centigrade sure make more sense than our silly, vague counterparts for them. We're like Apple.. we have this proprietary tripe we try and force on everyone and we're arrogant enough to think they're better off forit.
