Data recovery...
If anyone can please help me, I am using my old BB 9000 because My BB 9800 totally crapped out on me. I had a backup file from the BB 9800 on my computer that I used to restore on my BB 9000 and now that it is restored I have lost a few contacts that I had saved on my BB 9000 that I need to access urgently. I called BB tech support but they were not as helpful. Does anyone know how I can gain back my these contacts that were over written after I restored. I should mention I also never backed up my BB 9000 which I realize was stupid not to do. Any suggestions?!?

When you made a backup from your 9800 with desktop manager you can put back your contacts to your 9000 without any problem, every backup has his own name like the date or what you write on it,connect the 9000 and choose restore the latest 9800 backup, BUT if your write over this 9800 backup to your 9000 and there where contacts at your 9000 you didn't saved, you lost this contacts, because you write over a new backup file and lost the 9000 settings and contacts, I'm sorry.
Ask your phone company the last call bills to see if you can find some lost contacts.
