Why is there "D" have a dot embossed? That is annoying! =)

It's the center of the numbers, so you can dial without looking.

What a wasted post this is. Phones, Computers and even calculators have a mark on the 5 key but the OP has only wasted another post with silly arguments that hold no merit. People under 12 years old should not be allowed to post until they grow up.
