Will be getting my new bold soon and was wondering what is the best stable os version I need the newest beta but then would like to get the most out of my device also not sure what it will ship with. And also do you up grade the os like the 8310?

Well I used my bold for a few days and then I updated it to OS .282 . OS .266 and .282 are the two more "used" ones around here and people have had good results with both.

As soon as you get your new device, make sure to remove unneccessary languages to free up memory. Read the very first link on this thread about being new to the bold.

I've noticed that at .282 I am constantly around 36-54 mb memory.

.292 is the latest, but I wuld have to go with .282 as most stable and IMO the best available!

Also when I trasfer my apps from curve to bold with DDM will my old theme work on the bold?
