Content Protection question
Had something happen this morning which has me concerned.
We were applying some Windows OS patches and had to reboot the server as part of that process.
User #1 has a Series 9000
User #2 has a Series 8900
BES server version 4.1.6.19
Within a minute after the server came back online two of our users, who have enabled Content Protection on their devices (it is not enabled on the server side), new activation passwords were sent to the two devices.
Has anyone seen this before? I am wondering if there is something within the Content Protection code that says something to the effect "if I can't talk to the BES server within X minutes request new activation password".
All we did to resolve this issue, ie get the user back into their devices, was to reset their Activation password.
Any thoughts?
