Default Connection issues

Hello folks, i'm new to this Blackberry stuff, and i'm having problems with my internet connectionm, the thing is that the company is charging me for visiting some internet sites, but they don't specify me this, they told me i had free internet access. They tell me that my phone is using another connection, where sufing the net has a cost. How can i control the way my Blackberry is connecting to the net? I know that the Blackberry uses a protocol similar to GPRS to connect, but i donīt know how can i control this. Please help me with this, 'cause my phone bills are going up an up! Thanks.

O2-UK? I think I have this right, it kept me away from extra charges last month.

Select either WAP Browser or Internet Browser. I think Internet Browser is preferred. You should find this under Browser/Options/General / Default Browser.

Only use Hotspot browser through your home wifi, or a wifi hotspot where you have an account or free minutes. DO NOT allow hotspot browser to connect over the O2 cellular network.
