Default Can't recieve texts from certain people?

Hey, I have a Bold 9000 under At&t and am not able to receive texts from certain people. It seems to be that most of the texts that aren't received come from people with T-mobile..Sprint.. and Verizon. Its been going on for 4 months but I only realized it a few weeks ago. I have no idea what to do. NO IDEA. I talked to At&t.. They said that its the other service companies problem because they can get my texts... but the texts they send me register as sent on their phone.. but I never get it. PLEASE HELP ME.

Are the texts you are not receiving from people that are, or are not in your address book (contacts)? if they are in the address book, then i can't help ya. If they are not, then it is a security|firewall setting.

Are these individuals able to communicate to your phone in any other way, ie: e-mails, MMS, BBM, etc?
