Calendar sync issues

I'm trying to sync my Bold 9000 to my Windows 2007 Outlook Calendar, and it keeps saying it has deletions to do. I have already set up the blackberry calendar options as forever, and changed outlook to reflect never archive and set it up so that everything is kept for as much time before and after today as the settings allow. However, it's still trying to delete info from July. My blackberry version is5.0.0.1067 bundle 1728 platform 5.2.0.89 It's set up for a two way device -outlook sync, so why is it trying to wipe both the calendar and outlook?

I'm using Blackberry desktop manager v4.6
How do I fix this?

I have almost the same problem on my BB Storm 9530. It's set to keep appointments forever, but anything older than a month or so goes away. I don't even get a notice that it's being deleted.

I sync the phone to Calendar and Contacts in Outlook 2003 on my laptop.

The help text tells me to "highlight the calendar application. Click Advanced > Conflict Resolution. Verify that the Transfer all scheduled items option or Transfer only future items option is selected." But this is not an option. I think it was once, but if it was there, it's disappeared.
