Browser help. Cant get to certain webpage

Hey guys, Im new to the CB forums. I had a problem recently getting to the Resistance 2 webpage on my Bold. On the page itself you have to enter your birthdate because the game is Rated M 17+. But when I enter my birthdate and submit it, the page just seems to refresh itself. Is there any way to sync it with a pc or some other way to be able to access it??

As far as blackberries have come since the black and white screen days they still have some issues viewing certain web pages.

that web page might have some java or whoever else knows thing in order to access it and the berry just doesn't support it.

That might be the case.

I have the same issue with some sites
No worries. It happens
As long as it is not every site, ur bold is fine

Oh well thanks for the help though. And no its not every site, just some. Maybe they'll add Flash to the BB Browser...we can hope.

Have you tried enabling JavaScript?

Have you tried changing the browser options to show your browser as Internet Explorer or Firefox? I know some pages don't work for me when its on the default BlackBerry

(In browser click blackberry menu key, choose options, choose browser config then browser identification)

To the OP, have you tried the Opera Mini browser? It's a third party browser that can be downloaded. Just Google Opera Mini from your phone and you'll find the download link.

when at the page u want to bookmark, press the menu key, scroll to "add bookmark"

Hit Menu and scroll down until you see the "Add Bookmark" menu.

Thanks Dan and Yda, It works per your instructions, but I cannot bookmark more than 5 websites ! Is there a bookmark limit on websites ? Is it better to bookmark under WAP browser or Blackberry browser ? Please advise.

You can. Only 5 will show up in the menu though (five most recently used). Click the "Bookmark" title bar to see more.

Hi Yda, I managed to get bookmarks done. Please advise how do I transfer video cd directly from vcd or dvd to BBB, via desktop to BBB ? I can tranfer music cd, but not video cd. Please help. Thank You in advance.
