Well just to let everyone know my experience with bring the battery back to life. It took a solid 6 days on constant charge before it built up enough for the phone to come on. It had been in storage for about 1 1/2 years and decided to check it one day in case I needed it in an emergency some time. I have no simm card in it but I was able to still connect with wifi to the internet and check for any updates which there were none. Now I have been using a torch 9800 with OS 6 so going back to OS 5 is racking my brain a little. This actually was my wife's old phone and if I need to put it in use one day I will need to wife it clear of here emails and all info before bringing it up as my main phone. I believe there is a option under settings for wiping the device. I will have to check on that. I only wish I had the extra money to buy a bold 9900 with OS7 but I holding out for BB10 but it is dang hard waiting on the unknown. The 9900 is still very high since it is still current and the flagship device. Oh well my 9800 has been my friend for 1 1/2 years and it still works good. It should be like new under all the protection and cases I have kept on it.
